Before you book your dog in

Before we take any dog we require every new dog to do a trial day care or boarding stay.

You will then receive a full report within 48 hours of how we feel your dog has settled and got on with us throughout the day/night.

Here at Rose Cottage it is important we are the right fit for your dog as much as they are the right fit for us.

We run Rose Cottage very differently to most kennels, so, we need to check all of our dogs are able to socialise.  This way we know all of our dogs will enjoy their stay and their is no conflict between pooches.

Please do not be disappointed if we refuse your dog entry to Rose Cottage.

Rest assured we have the dog’s best interests at heart, we will of course always try to recommend another option for you and your dog.

We do not just take your money we advise you if we feel we are not the best places for your pooch.  We always want what is best for each and every dog that comes to Rose Cottage.

Some breeds we cannot accept, we are very sorry

Due to the nature of how we operate our business we must be selective with the breeds of dogs we take for Day Care and Boarding.

Here at Rose Cottage, unfortunately, we are unable to take the following breeds of dogs, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Dobermann, Mastiff, Bull Breeds, Rottweiler, Akita, Shar Pei.

It is at Rose Cottage discretion what breeds of dogs we take, that we feel suit our environment.  It is not personal and it is not because we don’t like these breeds.  It is just how we run Rose Cottage.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.  However, we want what’s best for each and every dog and sometimes Rose Cottage doesn’t suit every dog.

We are not about money and we won’t just take yours and we advise you if we feel we cannot help.

We require every new dog to do a trial day care or boarding stay and then you will receive a full report within 48 hours of how we feel your dog has settled.

Please do not be disappointed if we refuse your dog entry to Rose Cottage, rest assured we have the dog’s best interests at heart, we will of course always try to recommend another option for you and your dog.
